According to the western tradition, God is thought to be a maximally great person and worthy of ultimate concern. There is general agreement that this implies things like his beneficence, his omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence. In orthodox Christian thought, His attributes are revealed both in the “book” of nature (Creation) and the “book” of scripture.
In this section, we will be providing resources to think about what this means and the philosophical/theological issues and problems that surround it. As we continue to extend the scope of resources for this investigation, we will include the issues of God’s alleged timelessness, immutability, simplicity, aseity and impassibility. Further, we will provide and intend to provide further resources for apologetic interaction with non-believers.
